The past few months consisted of a lot of transitions. The world we all once knew has since vanished and is now in transition. With it is the new normal of the COVID-19 epidemic that has forced a lot of businesses to re-evaluate their current business as well as how they will cope and adapt with the present as well as the new future.
The thing is that while the world may have forced a re-evaluation of some business practices, it doesn't mean everything has stopped. Goods still must be delivered as well as the infrastructure to support it. For businesses that are entirely online, their staff may now be working from home, when they used to be in the office, but the underlying projects of revamping and streamlining business is still continuing. Even now, the competitors are positioning themselves on how best to make due of the current world, and will position themselves to be at the front of when the shelter in place rules are relaxed.
Personally, for Atelier Solutions, we have a couple of clients that were secured just before the pandemic went into full force, and for both clients, they have funded the project regardless of where the new normal takes us. In fact, I've been extra busy in that there was a relocation of the corporate offices thrown in the mix which is why the cabnetworks.net domain has been down recently. With all that is going on, the world is still turning. While we may wish everything can stand still to better understand and adapt, nature favors those who can adapt the quickest.
How are you handling the current crisis? Has the world paused for you and your customers? What would happen for you once the shelter in place orders are removed and business can resume? How would you ramp up? How quickly would your customers gain trust coming back? Is there anything in the meantime that can be done to shorten this cycle?
A part of this to comment and reflect on the new world, and a part is a realization that there hasn't been a post in a while, and a desire to know how others are weathering the storm.
